“Time to fire up the engine and get this thing rolling again! We are super excited and beyond honored to again be a part of This Is Hardcore in Philadelphia this Summer. TIH has become one of the best heavy music festivals in the country. Joe has been a friend for years and years and we can’t thank him enough for letting us hop on in whichever years we can get our shit together. In 2011 we played what was our first show in 4 years at TIH, and the love and energy in the room that day is something I can still feel, and is basically the reason we remained active, or at least as active as a bi coastal band can be.
As is the way we roll, we feel it important to not just sit around and play old stuff, but to continue to write and record if we are going to keep All Else Failed alive. This year at This Is Hardcore we will be releasing a 7″ called Cradles and Graves. It features probably the 2 best songs we’ve ever written. We are beyond stoked that the great Paul Romano will be doing the artwork, and we will again be working with War Torn Records for the release. This record will be available at This Is Hardcore, and whatever isn’t sold there will be sold at indiemerch.com, and that will be it! There will be no other outlet for the physical vinyl of this release.
After This Is Hardcore, however, the two songs will be available for purchase as downloads at our newly launched Bandcamp page. For now however, to celebrate this Summer being the 19th anniversary of our band and to serve as a sort of launching point for the Bandcamp, we have made available for free download our favorite 19 All Else Failed songs. These tracks span all eras, decades and lineups. Eventually our goal is to have everything we have ever released available there but we figured this would be a fun way to start. Check it out here.”
